What everyone asks

Is it free?

Yes. Bardo is free and has no ads.

Does it need internet?

No. Everything happens on your phone: reading, the voice and your library. The published version doesn't even have internet permission.

Which voices does it use?

The ones your phone already has (Google, Samsung and others). If you don't have one for your language, Bardo takes you to download it for free from Android's settings.

Does it read any book aloud?

It reads PDF, EPUB, DOCX and TXT. Comics are read on screen: they're images, with no text to narrate.

Does it work on tablets?

Yes, and turned sideways it shows two pages, like an open book.
